The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cadwallader takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cadwallader lands a jab-cross combination.
Jacobson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cadwallader momentarily.
Jacobson slips a jab from Cadwallader .
Cadwallader displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jacobson throws out the jab.
Cadwallader wants to clinch up but Jacobson keeps it at a distance.
Cadwallader throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jacobson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cadwallader pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jacobson missing with a left hand there. Cadwallader was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cadwallader takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jacobson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Cadwallader fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cadwallader misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jacobson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cadwallader throws a combination. Jacobson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Cadwallader lands a body shot.
Cadwallader takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
We've been informed that Cadwallader has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A left lands for Jacobson.
Cadwallader misses with an uppercut
and Jacobson counters with a left to the body.
Cadwallader swings for the body but Jacobson moves out of range.
Jacobson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cadwallader tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jacobson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Cadwallader takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Jacobson throws a shot from downtown. Cadwallader moves away and avoids it.
Cadwallader lands with a shot to the body.
Cadwallader uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jacobson.
Cadwallader misses with a hook. Jacobson ducked under it nicely.
Jacobson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cadwallader .
Cadwallader sizes up Jacobson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Cadwallader lands with an uppercut that bounces Jacobson off the cage and back into range.
Algernon Cadwallader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cadwallader throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cadwallader throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jacobson counters with a stiff right hand.
Jacobson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jacobson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jacobson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
A jab from Jacobson finds it's way through Cadwallader 's defenses.

Cadwallader is rocked!
Jacobson cracks a nice hook into Cadwallader 's ribs.
Cadwallader is still on wobbly legs! Can Jacobson finish him?
Cadwallader bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Jacobson comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Cadwallader falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Cadwallader was out before he hit the floor!
