Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Schmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Imperial (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Imperial dives in and scores a takedown into Schmo's guard.
Schmo has momentary wrist control but Imperial slips an elbow through the middle.
Imperial throwing strikes but missing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schmo wants to sweep here but Imperial controlling him for the moment.
Schmo is working hard here to advance position.
Schmo thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Imperial's coach down at KING OF PAIN was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Imperial's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Schmo swings for the body but Imperial moves out of range.

Imperial is trying to drag Schmo to the mat but Schmo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Imperial has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Schmo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Schmo has Imperial pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Schmo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Imperial tumbling to the mat - Schmo dives into Imperial's guard.

Imperial is looking to stand up but Schmo isn't so interested in that idea.

Schmo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Schmo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Imperial changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schmo tries to avoid it but Imperial manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schmo to the ground. Schmo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Schmo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Imperial moves away.
Schmo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Imperial can do to turn this around?

Schmo waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Imperial. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Imperial to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Schmo stands up over Imperial, holding on to his feet. Schmo throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Imperial is out cold! Schmo lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

A very excited looking Joe Schmo made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
