The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown moves away from the strike by Northman.
Brown is looking for a counter combo.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Northman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Northman is looking for the big counter here.
Northman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brown throws a shot from downtown. Northman moves away and avoids it.

Brown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Northman defends well and Brown ends up having to push Northman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Northman unleashes a big counter combination but Brown bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Northman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Northman stalks Brown and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brown's face. Brown staggers backwards, shaken.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brown catches Northman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Brown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Northman looks winded!
Brown lands with a thumping leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Brown. That snapped Northman's head back.
Brown throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Brown 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Brown throws a combination. Northman tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Brown scores with a decent looking hook.

Northman is rocked!
Northman throws a nice looking combination but Brown bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brown appears to be looking for a big counter.
Northman is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him?
Northman misses with a lunging right hand
and Brown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Northman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Northman.
Northman walks into a stiff left hand from Brown.
Brown drops Northman with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Northman! Brown dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
