Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Guillermo Ashley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scotty McNully!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McNully closes the distance and pushes Ashley back into the cage.

McNully gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
McNully is looking to stand up but Ashley won't let him.
McNully prevents Ashley from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ashley is working an open guard so McNully takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Ashley gets caught flat footed, as McNully shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

McNully gets to his feet. Ashley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

McNully closes the distance and pushes Ashley back into the cage.
Ashley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
McNully wants to get back to striking at distance but Ashley won't allow it.

McNully jumps guard and drags Ashley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McNully has Ashley pulled in close to control his posture.

McNully escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ashley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McNully avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ashley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McNully's head.
Ashley with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Ashley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McNully works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fighters are working up against the cage. McNully manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Ashley missing with knees to the body.

McNully manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
McNully is trying to keep Ashley in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McNully avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ashley missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McNully is on top in guard.

Ashley pulls McNully in to control the position.
Ashley wants to get back to his feet but McNully is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McNully wants to control from the top but Ashley keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ashley is working an open guard so McNully takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

McNully shoots in and gets a takedown into Ashley's guard.
McNully wants to control from the top but Ashley keeps moving.
McNully stops Ashley from standing up.
Ashley keeping moving, preventing McNully from controlling successfully.

McNully drops back looking for a leg! Ashley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ashley manages to kick McNully off! McNully jumps back into Ashley's guard.
McNully wants to control from the top but Ashley keeps moving.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ashley pulls McNully in close to prevent any damage.

McNully decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ashley, up you get!

McNully darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

McNully is working for a submission of some sort.
Ashley preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scotty McNully dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



McNully gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

McNully manages to pull guard.

McNully working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ashley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but McNully is tightening it up a little... Ashley has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ashley reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ashley taps out! Nice BJJ there by McNully!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Scotty McNully!
An out of breath Scotty McNully thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
