Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Pritchard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian Jensen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jimmy Pritchard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brian Jensen!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pritchard scores with a shot to the body.
Pritchard cracks Jensen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A left lands for Pritchard.
Jab by Pritchard.
Pritchard throws a leg kick which misses Jensen's front leg but catches the back leg as Jensen tries to avoid it.
Pritchard's corner calls for a 1-2. Pritchard obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pritchard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pritchard misses with a wild body shot.
Jensen drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pritchard defends it well.
Pritchard jabs Jensen right on the nose. Jensen blinks but takes it well.
Pritchard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jensen moves away.
Jensen feints the counter takedown.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jensen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pritchard's waist but Pritchard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jensen off to one side.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pritchard scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Pritchard defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jensen.
Pritchard looks to throw the jab but Jensen is out of range.

Jensen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jensen tries to pass to full mount but Pritchard defends it.

Jensen seems to be looking for submissions.

Jensen is trying to work for a kimura but Pritchard is defending well.
Jensen prevents Pritchard from standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jensen is looking to advance position but Pritchard won't allow it.

Jensen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jensen wants to take a breather but Pritchard is having none of it.

Jensen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jensen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pritchard knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Jensen is looking for a kimura here.

Jensen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Pritchard is defending against the submission attempts here by Jensen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jensen seems to be looking for submissions.
Pritchard is in trouble now - Jensen has advanced to mount!
Jensen trying to control but Pritchard is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jensen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pritchard turns into him and now he's in Jensen's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jimmy Pritchard dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Pritchard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jensen.
Jensen is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Jensen moves away from the strike by Pritchard.
Jensen misses with a takedown
and Pritchard counters with a right hand to the body.
Jensen tries to clinch but Pritchard is having none of it.
Pritchard fires out a quick counter leg kick but Jensen just manages to avoid it.
Pritchard scores with a nice strike.
Jensen fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pritchard lands a nice looking body shot.
Pritchard tests Jensen's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Jensen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.


Jensen is rocked!
A cross from Pritchard lands.
Jensen is still on wobbly legs! Can Pritchard finish him?
Pritchard drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Jensen right on the button. Jensen goes down! Pritchard follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Pritchard gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Pritchard!
