The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abdurahimov closes the distance and clinches up with Rewell, looking for a takedown. Abdurahimov pushes Rewell against the cage but Rewell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Abdurahimov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rewell's guard.

Rewell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rewell lands a big head kick that sends Abdurahimov tumbling to the mat! Rewell takes a step backwards and waves Abdurahimov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Shamil Abdurahimov's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd cheers as Rewell lands an impressive looking overhand right. Abdurahimov doesn't seem phased though.

Rewell has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Rewell drops Abdurahimov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Abdurahimov looks back up at him and smiles so Rewell waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

A head kick by Rewell - that's a beauty! Abdurahimov is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Rewell can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
