Flannery's entrance music is Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston. A fine choice. Velasquez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by El Camino . Desmond Flannery could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Fabricio Velasquez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Velasquez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Flannery is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

An out of breath Desmond Flannery thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Fabricio Velasquez stepped up to the mic, saying 'My camp trained hard, but the better fighter won on the day. I won't let it keep me down. I'll be back, training, at the first chance I get.'.
