Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Bendall!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bendall has his takedown stuffed
and Cotton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bendall doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cotton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
George Bendall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cotton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bendall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cotton manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cotton keeping moving, preventing Bendall from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bendall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cotton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bendall passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Cotton parries the strikes from Bendall easily there. Bendall is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cotton to escape.
Cotton is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bendall connects with a decent elbow.

Bendall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cotton, who protects the arm well.

Bendall throws a strike aimed at the side of Cotton's head but Cotton avoids it well.
Cotton takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Cotton is trying to escape the position but Bendall is controlling the position.
Bendall cracks Cotton with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Cotton is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bendall scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Cotton is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Bendall can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
