Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edvard Grieg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grieg's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, In the Hall of the Mountain King. Logan Scott told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Scott fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Grieg is out of range.
Scott lands with an overhand left.
We've been hearing reports that Grieg has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Scott lands a really nice looking cross but Grieg seems unphased.

Scott misses with a right hand
and Grieg counters with a low kick, right behind Scott 's knee.
Scott throws a right hand that misses
and Grieg counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Grieg throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Scott misses the jab.
Scott misses with an uppercut. Grieg saw that one coming.
Grieg half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Grieg cracks the inside of Scott's front leg.

Scott scores with a crisp jab that stopped Grieg in his tracks.
Scott misses with a lunging right hand
and Grieg counters with a straight right hand.
Grieg tries to move into range but Scott moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Scott throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Grieg throws a quick counter kick to the body but Scott avoids it.
A left lands for Scott.

and Grieg counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Grieg lands a head kick!

Grieg dives in and scores a takedown into Scott's guard.

Scott wants to hit a switch here but Grieg passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Scott there!

Scott is bucking up trying to escape but Grieg cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Grieg is landing with some decent strikes but Scott is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Grieg lands a heavy elbow.
Grieg lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Scott is rocked!
Grieg scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Scott is still in real trouble! Can Grieg finish him?
Grieg breaks from Scott's wrist control and lands an elbow.
A big strike lands for Grieg! That's really hurt Scott and he's turned his back - Grieg keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Grieg jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
