Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michal Kucharski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zackary Finyard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finyard has chosen Your pussy's glued to a building on fire as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Zackary Finyard enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michal Kucharski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zackary Finyard!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finyard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kucharski's waist but Kucharski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Finyard off to one side.
Kucharski is looking to counter punch.
Finyard shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kucharski throwing a counter right hand but Finyard manages to avoid it.
Finyard moves in looking to clinch but Kucharski pushes him off.
Finyard looks to land a combination but Kucharski avoids it well.
It looked like Kucharski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Finyard is defended easily by Kucharski.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Finyard shoots in looking for a takedown. Kucharski tries to sprawl out of it but Finyard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kucharski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Kucharski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Michal Kucharski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Finyard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kucharski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Finyard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kucharski as he avoids it easily.
Kucharski was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Kucharski jumps guard but Finyard stands there with Kucharski around his waist. Kucharski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Finyard is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Finyard is pulling down on Kucharski's head. It's preventing any offense from Kucharski, at least for the moment.

Kucharski won't allow Finyard to sweep him here.

Finyard is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kucharski stays in close to Finyard's body and controls the position.
Finyard is pulling down on Kucharski's head. It's preventing any offense from Kucharski, at least for the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Finyard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
It looked like Kucharski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Finyard throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kucharski was covering up waiting for the punch and Finyard finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Finyard working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Finyard drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kucharski dives on top into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Finyard trying to keep a closed guard but Kucharski is proving a slippery customer.
Kucharski wants to pass the guard but Finyard is keeping the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kucharski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Finyard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kucharski has managed to get both his arms back between Finyard's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Kucharski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A head kick from Finyard lands but Kucharski takes it in his stride.
Finyard tries to clinch there but Kucharski circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Finyard looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kucharski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Finyard manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Finyard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kucharski manages to get himself to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Finyard decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kucharski, up you get!
Finyard shoots in looking for a takedown but Kucharski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Finyard's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Zackary Finyard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Finyard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kucharski haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Finyard moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Finyard misses with the ground and pound.
Kucharski is not content to let Finyard control the position.

Zackary Finyard is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Kucharski tries to sprawl but Finyard drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Finyard looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Finyard wants to pass to mount but Kucharski is defending the position.
Kucharski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Finyard's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Finyard's back!
