Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dylan McKay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oke Yagin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dylan McKay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oke Yagin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yagin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McKay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yagin moves away.
As McKay backs off Yagin throws a huge counter combo but McKay manages to avoid it all.
Yagin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McKay but McKay pushes him off and we're back to square one.

McKay swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Dylan McKay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oke Yagin.
Horrible takedown attempt by Yagin or perhaps it was just good defense by McKay, which made it look bad.
A slapping leg kick lands for McKay.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yagin darts in looking for a takedown but McKay gets double underhooks and turns Yagin into the cage.
It looked like McKay wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Yagin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McKay.
McKay throws a body punch but Yagin moves out of range.

McKay tries to sprawl but Yagin drives through with a takedown into half guard.

McKay tries to get to full guard but Yagin has control of the leg.

McKay is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Yagin is aware though and is defending well.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yagin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yagin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
McKay ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Yagin shoots in but no luck this time.
McKay throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Yagin fails with a takedown attempt.

McKay throws a big shot that misses.
Yagin shoots for a takedown but McKay saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McKay misses the shot to the body.

Yagin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McKay was covering up waiting for the punch and Yagin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

McKay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Yagin looking to sit in guard and control but McKay gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Yagin is working an open guard so McKay takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from McKay. Yagin does a little dance to reset his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yagin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

McKay dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yagin. That did some damage!

Yagin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McKay's half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McKay scores with a jab to the body.
Dylan McKay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yagin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McKay tries to avoid it but Yagin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McKay to the ground. McKay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Yagin wants to control but McKay is keeping him busy.
McKay regains half guard there - taking advantage of Yagin's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Yagin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Yagin dives in and grabs McKay's left leg, looking for a takedown. McKay pushes down on Yagin's head and hops out.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McKay looks to land a body kick but Yagin moved away.
Yagin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McKay.
Yagin moves away from the strike by McKay.
McKay jabs Yagin right on the nose. Yagin blinks but takes it well.

so Yagin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Yagin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yagin closes this distance looking for a takedown but McKay circles away.
McKay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yagin moves away.
Yagin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


McKay moves away from the strike by Yagin.
Yagin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McKay defends well and Yagin ends up having to push McKay into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
McKay misses with a kick to the body.

Yagin gets the takedown into side control.
The ground and pound from Yagin seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Yagin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McKay has escaped the position, nice work there.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Yagin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
McKay can't do much from the bottom here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Yagin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McKay did well to prevent Yagin getting side control.
McKay is looking to get back to is feet but Yagin passes into side control.
McKay is trying to get back to half guard.
Oke Yagin has got the better of the ground game so far.
Yagin trying to control the action but McKay is working from the bottom.
Yagin happy to just control the position for now.

Yagin is continuing to stall.
Yagin is looking to take a break and control but McKay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
McKay manages to get back to half guard.

Oke Yagin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think McKay has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
