Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ozzy McKane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Karter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McKane comes to the cage accompanied by SAIL - AWOLNATION. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKane throws a right hand that Karter ducks under and follows up with a left that Karter also avoids with ease.
McKane misses with an uppercut.
It seemed like Karter was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Karter lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

McKane fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Karter on the side of the head.

Karter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Both fighters circling a little - Karter finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Karter lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
McKane thows a left - swing and a miss!
McKane tries a head kick but it misses.
Karter's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McKane connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Karter scrambles back to his feet.

McKane comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Karter thows a body kick. McKane tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Karter connects with an inside leg kick.
Karter throws a leg kick but McKane moved away.

Karter lands a really nice looking cross but McKane seems unphased.
McKane throws a right and a left that Karter avoids nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McKane shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Karter throws out a counter right but McKane avoids it with no problem.
McKane stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Karter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Karter there as he acknowledges the shot.

McKane was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Karter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McKane was well out of range. Poor timing from Karter.
Karter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McKane.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ozzy McKane will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
