Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Christian Ingram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stergios Grivas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grivas has chosen My Curse-Killswitch as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Ingram!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stergios Grivas!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grivas misses with a hook
and Ingram counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ingram scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Grivas lands with a nice body punch.
Grivas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ingram cracks Grivas with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ingram misses with a series of wild punches.
Ingram misses with a body shot
enabling Grivas to counter with a crisp jab.
Grivas moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ingram fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Grivas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Grivas punishes Ingram's body with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ingram throws a poor cross that misses
and Ingram takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ingram rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Grivas counters with a low kick, right behind Ingram 's knee.
Grivas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ingram scores with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ingram ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grivas moves away.
Grivas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ingram has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ingram throws a poor cross that misses
and Grivas finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Grivas lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ingram takes a step back to recover.
Grivas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Grivas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ingram fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grivas manages to avoid it.
Grivas thinks about the counter body kick.
Grivas takes a swing at Ingram's ribcage but misses.
Ingram takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ingram's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Grivas connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ingram scrambles back to his feet.
Ingram misses with a shot to the body
and Grivas counters with a flying knee. Nice.


Ingram is rocked!
Ingram throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Grivas counters with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grivas moves out of range as Ingram strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grivas fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Grivas thuds his shin into the meat of Ingram's side.
Ingram is breathing heavily.
Ingram throws a jab but it's blocked by Grivas.
Grivas lands a head kick. Ingram smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Oh Ingram is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grivas cracks Ingram with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Ingram is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Ingram is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Ingram could not beat the count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Stergios Grivas!
Stergios Grivas decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
