Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miller Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cu Cuchulain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cu Cuchulain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Light clinches up with Cuchulain and pushes him back against the cage.

Light creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Cuchulain's defenses.
Cuchulain is trying to pull guard but Light turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Cuchulain takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Cu Cuchulain has been cut.
Light lands an elbow inside that Cuchulain shrugs off.
Light gets through Cuchulain's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Light gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Light has Cuchulain pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Light pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cuchulain tumbling to the mat - Light dives into Cuchulain's guard.
Light wants to pass the guard but Cuchulain is keeping the position.
Light might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Light decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cuchulain, up you get!

Light manages to break the clinch.

Light closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Light shoots in but no luck this time.

Cuchulain bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cuchulain lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Cuchulain moves in looking to clinch but Light pushes him off.

Light pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cuchulain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cuchulain attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Cu Cuchulain seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Cuchulain lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Light backs up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Light doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
