Hubbard has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Chi Hubbard has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hubbard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Goodfell unleashes a big counter combination but Hubbard bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Goodfell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Goodfell content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Goodfell gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Dave Goodfell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Goodfell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hubbard is breathing heavily.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Goodfell is chipping away with strikes.
