Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emeric Voclain!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice slips under a jab from Voclain.
Slice throws a head kick that misses.
Voclain should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Voclain swinging wildly here.
Slice scores with a hook.
It looks like Emeric Voclain has been cut.
Slice sends Voclain crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Slice is motioning to the referee to let Voclain up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Voclain is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Voclain throws a body punch but Slice moves out of range.
Slice takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Voclain misses with a double jab
and Slice makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Slice feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Voclain's calf.
Slice misses with a few strikes there.
Slice feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Voclain sprawling to the canvas! Voclain rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Slice finish him?!
Voclain is still on wobbly legs! Can Slice finish him?
Voclain tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Voclain seems to have recovered his senses.
Voclain misses the shot to the body.
Slice throws a right and a left that Voclain avoids nicely.
Voclain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slice moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Slice throws a right hand that Voclain ducks under and follows up with a left that Voclain also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Slice.
Slice looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Slice backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Voclain's temple! It sends Voclain violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Slice celebrates and the doctors try to help Voclain!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Kimbo Slice!
