The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mierda tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rawlings defends well and Mierda ends up having to push Rawlings into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Rawlings stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rawlings wants it to stay on the feet.

Mierda gets caught napping as Rawlings dives in and scores a takedown. Mierda manages to retain guard.

Mierda manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Mierda wants a takedown.
Bj Rawlings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorder Mierda.
Rawlings is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Mierda is defending well.

Mierda manages to pull guard.

Rawlings stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Mierda throws up his legs and catches Rawlings in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Rawlings tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Mierda! That came out of nowhere!
