Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Turk Turkleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill West will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turkleton tries to clinch but West is having none of it.

Turkleton is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

West tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Turkleton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

West really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Turkleton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Turkleton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

West takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Turkleton remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
We've been informed that West has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
West is trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee asks Turkleton politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Turkleton prefers to stall for the moment though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Turkleton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has West pinned against the cage. West gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A close round but Bill West will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

West wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Turkleton has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of West's face.

Bill West's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
