The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guruland misses with an uppercut.
Gennero lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Guruland backs up against the cage.
Guruland goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Gennero has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Big dawg in the buildup to the fight.
Guruland throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been informed that Guruland has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Guruland throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Gennero stumbling backwards into the cage! Gennero bounces back off the cage towards Guruland, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Guruland lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Guruland celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
