Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wade Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wade Wallace is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace pushes Almeida up against the cage in a clinch.
Almeida is trying to maintain a safe position but Wallace gets an underhook and turns Almeida into the cage.
Almeida stalling in the clinch but Wallace improves position.
Almeida is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Wallace has denied him.
Wallace blocks an uppercut.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Wallace has picked Almeida up - he's going for a ride! Wallace dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Almeida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wallace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Almeida is looking to control Wallace's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Almeida avoid being mounted?
Wallace looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Almeida with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Wallace is working for a submission of some sort.
Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wallace in particular looking to stall.

Wallace has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Wallace goes for a double leg but Almeida avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Almeida continues to drive forward.

Wallace throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Hugo Almeida has been cut.

Wallace finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Wallace seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Almeida is looking to improve his position.

Wallace decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Almeida leaves Wallace with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Almeida steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wallace.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wallace shoots for a double leg takedown but Almeida sprawls well. He's pushed Wallace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wallace sets himself, and Almeida steps forward looking for the clinch! Wallace avoids it this time.

Wallace drops down looking for an ankle pick but Almeida pulls his leg out and moves away.

Wallace has hold of Almeida's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Almeida tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wallace cranks the arm and Almeida screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Almeida, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
