The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki throws a head kick but Azevedo moves out of range.
Azevedo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Azevedo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Suzuki's guard.
Azevedo wants to pass the guard but Suzuki is keeping the position.

Azevedo has hold of Suzuki's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Suzuki manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
