Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Mae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mae comes to the cage accompanied by T.I. . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Angus Jung!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jung gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Jung breaks the clinch.
Mae fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jung lands a nice hook to Mae's body. Mae takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mae lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jung backs up against the cage.
Mae throws a low kick but Jung avoids it.
Mae fails with a takedown attempt.
Mae lands a jab to Jung's midsection.
Jung throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jung keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mae walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jung.
Mae throws a looping overhand right but Jung ducks down to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jung breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jung tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Angus Jung is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mae shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mae displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jung throws out the jab.
Mae appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Jung lands a nice looking body shot.

Jung is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jung pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jung walks into a stiff left hand from Mae.
Mae looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Jung misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Mae throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Mae takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mae blocks a head kick by Jung.
Jung scores with a head kick.
Jung connects with a leg kick. Mae looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mae cracks Jung with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jung tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mae throws a nice looking combination but Jung bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mae shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jung as he avoids it easily.
A countering left hand to the body from Jung misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jung is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jung throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jung works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jung wants to clinch up but Mae keeps it at a distance.
Jung throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mae throws the kick towards the body but Jung avoids it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mae.
Jung tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jung throws a body punch but Mae moves out of range.

Jung blocks a head kick by Mae.
Mae will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mae avoids the head kick by Jung.
A head kick from Jung lands but Mae takes it in his stride.
A punch combination from Mae misses.
Jung is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Mae with a body shot.
Jung leaves Mae with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Mae. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mae is breathing heavily.
Jung ducks under a wild hook from Mae.
Jung tries to land a front kick but Mae steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mae crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jung - the referee stops the clock and Mae gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jung. Mae manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Jung dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mae. That did some damage!
Jung changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Mae tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jung defends well and Mae ends up having to push Jung into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mae backing away here, and Jung unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Jung moves into the clinch successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jung feints and then cracks Mae's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mae down.
Jung misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jung is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mae.
Jung throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Jung moves into the clinch successfully.

Jung breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mae slips a jab and a cross from Jung.
Jung is looking to slow Mae down with leg kicks.
Jung darts in trying to clinch
and Mae counters with a lovely shot to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mae works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Mae pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jung misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jung wants to land a leg kick but Mae is out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jung lands a big head kick that sends Mae tumbling to the mat! Jung takes a step backwards and waves Mae back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Dan Mae has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mae circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mae throws a right and a left that Jung avoids nicely.
Dan Mae is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jung's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jung duly obliges.

Mae is rocked!
Jung shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Mae takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Jung sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Mae bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Dan Mae was interviewed post fight and said 'Losing sucks, but my floppy-eared hound dog will still be happy to see me when I get home. '.
