Jacobs slips a straight right by Honda.
A combination from Jacobs does no damage.
Nice defenses there by Jacobs.
Jacobs loads up on a big right hand but Honda slips the punch.
Jacobs dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jacobs misses with a hook.
Honda shoots in and bounces Jacobs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Honda trying to control the position from guard on top but Jacobs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Honda's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
It looks like Dan Jacobs has been cut.
Jacobs has momentary wrist control but Honda slips an elbow through the middle.
That has opened up Dan Jacobs's cut even more.
Honda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Honda is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Dan Jacobs's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dan Jacobs's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
