The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from The Lion. Those never looked like landing.
Morais closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into The Lion's guard.
Morais might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Morais seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morais has an Americana. The Lion didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Morais is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Morais hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
