The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White tries to clinch up but Chlapik circles away and keeps his distance.
White dodges the punch combination from Chlapik.
A left and a right from Chlapik both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Xavier White has been cut.
Chlapik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - White looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chlapik lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
White tries to close the distance and clinch but Chlapik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chlapik changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Chlapik bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps White's head backwards.

Sloppy strikes from White. Those never looked like landing.
Chlapik drops down looking to force a counter takedown but White defends it well.
White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chlapik manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Chlapik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
White throws a quick counter kick to the body but Chlapik avoids it.

White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chlapik.

White rushes Chlapik and presses him up against the cage.
Chlapik lands a left hand that snaps the head of White backwards.

Chlapik tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Chlapik tried to land a shot to the body but connects with White's elbow.
White wants to break free but Chlapik has control.

White is trying to push Chlapik away but Chlapik has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

White avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Chlapik dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
White tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Chlapik counters with a nice uppercut.
White is looking to clinch but Chlapik is avoiding it.

White throws a hook to the side of Chlapik's head but Chlapik sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Chlapik lands a big head kick that sends White tumbling to the mat! Chlapik takes a step backwards and waves White back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh White is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Xavier White's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chlapik sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through White's defenses. It connects perfectly with White's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
