Conway tries to keep at a distance but Franson has taken the fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Franson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Franson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Conway manages to pass to side control.

Jagger Conway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pop Franson.

Franson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Conway uses from the top position.

That was a close round but I would say that Jagger Conway will probably get the nod.

and Conway counters with a three punch combo that has Franson backing up. Franson nods at Conway to acknowledge the strikes.

Conway looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Franson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Conway can't fight it off and eventually Franson manages to take the fight to the floor. Conway looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Conway is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Franson frees his head nicely. Oh but Conway has switched to an armbar! Franson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
