Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, John Winkle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quincy McBonebrook!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBonebrook fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Winkle has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Winkle tries to keep at a distance but McBonebrook has taken the fight into the clinch.
Winkle is trying to drag McBonebrook to the mat but McBonebrook just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Winkle has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McBonebrook after a bit of a struggle.
McBonebrook lands a hook to the side of the head.
McBonebrook lands an uppercut.
McBonebrook lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Winkle backwards.

Winkle is rocked!
McBonebrook's coach down at Vegas Campania was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McBonebrook's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Oh Winkle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Winkle tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Winkle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McBonebrook lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

McBonebrook breaks from the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McBonebrook connects with a leg kick. Winkle looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Winkle shoots and misses
and McBonebrook counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A head kick by McBonebrook - that's a beauty! Winkle is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even McBonebrook can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
