Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Philo Brathwaite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pereira Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brathwaite jabs Diaz right on the nose. Diaz blinks but takes it well.
Diaz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Brathwaite comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Brathwaite's corner calls for a 1-2. Brathwaite obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Brathwaite throws a half hearted mid kick.
Diaz tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Brathwaite pushes him off.
Diaz fails with the takedown.
Brathwaite stuns Diaz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Diaz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Brathwaite lands a right hook to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brathwaite.
Diaz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Brathwaite.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brathwaite does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Diaz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brathwaite scores with a shot to the body.
Brathwaite getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Diaz is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brathwaite is looking to score with low kicks.
Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Brathwaite finish him?
Brathwaite punishes Diaz's body with a nice straight punch.
Diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Brathwaite. That's going to slow Diaz down.

Brathwaite lands a big uppercut and Diaz crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Diaz looks OK. Brathwaite waves Diaz back to his feet!

A chopping leg kick lands by Brathwaite.
Diaz walks straight into a right hand from Brathwaite - that's dropped him! Brathwaite jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Diaz from any more punishment! Diaz complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
