The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Trevino.

McNee shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McNee showed some decent athleticism there.
McNee is looking to take a break and control but Trevino is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Trevino is looking to escape.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McNee in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McNee prevents Trevino from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Trevino is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McNee scores with a couple of nice shots.
McNee frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
McNee loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Trevino scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from McNee land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. McNee stands and salutes the crowd.
