The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dansville napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dansville looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Dansville is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Anderson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dansville will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Dansville is working to avoid the ground and pound but Anderson connects with a decent elbow.

Anderson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dansville tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Anderson is in Dansville's guard.

Anderson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anderson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Anderson cracks Dansville with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Dansville from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Dansville wants to get back to his feet.

Anderson is working for a rear naked choke. Dansville is not defending it well and Anderson has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Dansville refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Dansville's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
