The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez fails in his attempt to clinch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wase.
Wase is putting a hurting on Ramirez here, landing some big shots from side control.
Ramirez is trying to buck Wase off.
Ramirez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wase. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wase lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Ramirez wants to get back to his feet but Wase drags him back down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramirez takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Wase works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Ramirez bucks up and tries to throw Wase off but instead Wase has got his back!
Ramirez is still in real trouble! Can Wase finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wase is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Ramirez. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Wase drops a big shot to the side of Ramirez's head! Oh, Ramirez is out! He's out cold! Wase jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner. In his post fight interview he thanks God. Saying that without him, he wouldn't have the power to knock his opponent senseless. Amen.
