Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaakko Parantainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Parantainen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cryin' Like A Bitch - Godsmack. Joseph has chosen The Rover as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Anthony Joseph has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jaakko Parantainen's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joseph swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Parantainen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Parantainen throws a jab when Joseph was well out of range.
Joseph throws a body punch but Parantainen moves out of range.
Parantainen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Joseph swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Parantainen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Parantainen shoots in looking for a takedown but Joseph manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Parantainen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Parantainen dives in and grabs Joseph's left leg, looking for a takedown. Joseph pushes down on Parantainen's head and hops out.
Parantainen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Joseph as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaakko Parantainen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Joseph counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joseph lands the left hand.

Joseph lands a nice hook to Parantainen's body. Parantainen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Parantainen is breathing heavily.

Joseph lands a left and a right that send Parantainen crashing to the mat, dazed. Joseph thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jaakko Parantainen has been cut.

Joseph cracks Parantainen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Parantainen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Joseph finish him?

Parantainen is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Joseph. Parantainen shrugs it off though.
Oh Parantainen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Joseph weaves into range and cracks Parantainen right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Parantainen goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Joseph is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
