The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parliament throws a good cross that connects.
Vance goes for a double leg but Parliament avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Parliament continues to drive forward.
Parliament is looking to slow Vance down with leg kicks.
Vance misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Parliament scores with a takedown into Vance's guard.
Parliament stops Vance from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parliament throws a big right hand that misses.
Vance is trying to keep Parliament in close.

Vance really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vance has his hands clasped together around Parliament's back. He's all about the action.

Vance is trying to maintain the position but Parliament is very close to passing his half guard.
Parliament stands up from half guard.
Parliament's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vance under the eye.
Vance shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parliament but Parliament pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerome Vance. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vance throws an ugly left hook that misses
so Parliament counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Parliament trying to control but Vance is working from the bottom.
Parliament really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vance. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vance has momentary wrist control but Parliament slips an elbow through the middle.
Vance is rocked!

Vance is working an open guard so Parliament takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Oh Vance is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Parliament shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Vance is on queer street and Parliament is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
