Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slawek Libon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slawek Libon looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Slawek Libon!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Libon.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kim.
Libon's coach down at Cozad MMA Montreal was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Libon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kim throws a head kick but Libon moves out of range.
Kim thuds his right hand into Libon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Libon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Libon tries a quick counter leg kick but Kim is wise to it.

Kim connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kim lands a nice hook to Libon's body. Libon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A left lands for Kim.
Kim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kim moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kim looks to land a left hand but Libon moved out of range nicely.
Kim throws a jab but it's blocked by Libon.
Libon steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kim.

Libon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kim utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kim has momentary wrist control but Libon slips an elbow through the middle.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Libon is struggling to control the position.
Libon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kim after a bit of a struggle.

Libon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kim is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Libon stands up over Kim, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Libon lands a nice short elbow.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daniel Kim.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kim, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
