Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yogi Dhamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emiliano Zapata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dhamma's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Power Of Soul. The crowd seem to be enjoying Zapata's choice of entrance music: EINA. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yogi Dhamma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Emiliano Zapata!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zapata finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Zapata throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dhamma takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Zapata lands with a shot to the body.
That kick from Zapata tenderised Dhamma's leg. Dhamma is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sloppy strikes from Zapata. Those never looked like landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dhamma takes one on the button.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dhamma checks a leg kick.
Zapata drops his hands momentarily and Dhamma takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Zapata feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dhammas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dhamma shoots in for a double leg but Zapata sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Zapata throws a sloppy head kick and Dhamma moves out of range easily.
Nice straight punches there by Zapata. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Zapata.
Zapata circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dhamma is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zapata sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Good leg kick by Zapata there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Zapata lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dhamma circles away quickly and effectively.

Zapata throws a leg kick which misses Dhamma's front leg but catches the back leg as Dhamma tries to avoid it.

Dhamma is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Zapata.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zapata lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dhamma misses with a looping left.
Zapata is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dhamma had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Dhamma has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Zapata throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Dhamma is in close to Zapata's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Zapata wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The fighters circle momentarily. Zapata darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dhamma tries for a takedown but Zapata sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Zapata looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
