The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter dives in for a single leg takedown but Bugga sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Baxter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bugga appears to be looking for a big counter.
Nice sprawl there from Bugga as Baxter shoots in.
Baxter is looking to clinch.
Baxter shoots in for a takedown but Bugga shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Naruh Bugga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyreese Baxter.
Baxter shoots in but Bugga avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bugga jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baxter is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bugga is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Baxter to the mat. Baxter regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
