Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacoby Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flint Westrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacoby Anderson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Westrock is fighting off a takedown attempt but Anderson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Westrock to the mat. Westrock regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Westrock looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Anderson passes into half guard.

Anderson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Westrock has managed to free his arm - good work.

Westrock is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Anderson pulls his head out easily.

Westrock scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Anderson manages to mount him!
Westrock felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson prevents Westrock from getting the reversal.
Westrock sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Anderson lands with a punch from half guard.
Anderson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Westrock moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Westrock throws a couple of heel strikes.
Anderson won't allow Westrock to sweep him here.
Anderson postures up in Westrock's guard and throws a big left but Westrock blocks it.
Westrock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Anderson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Westrock tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Anderson is posturing up here but Westrock has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Anderson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Anderson has to tap! Slick submission there by Westrock!
