Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adolfo Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Hanibal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adolfo Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rey Hanibal!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Topper Green and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanibal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Austin swivels and escapes.
Hanibal darts in looking for a takedown but Austin gets double underhooks and turns Hanibal into the cage.
As Hanibal tries to get set, Austin tries to push him back and clinch up but Hanibal manages to avoid the attempt.
Hanibal shoots in but Austin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Adolfo Austin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rey Hanibal.
Hanibal looks winded!
Hanibal loads up on a big right hand but Austin slips the punch.
Hanibal tries to clinch but Austin moves out of range.
Hanibal shoots for a takedown but Austin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Austin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hanibal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hanibal or perhaps it was just good defense by Austin, which made it look bad.

Hanibal has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Austin seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Hanibal can turn it around.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Austin takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Austin has Hanibal pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Austin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hanibal tumbling to the mat - Austin dives into Hanibal's guard.

Hanibal is working an open guard so Austin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Austin is pushing Hanibal up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Austin has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hanibal regains guard immediately.

Hanibal has momentary wrist control but Austin slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Austin lands a couple of elbows.
Austin lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Austin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hanibal can do to turn this around?

Austin stands up from Hanibal's guard - Austin perhaps looking for a knockout.

Austin rushes Hanibal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Austin has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Hanibal pushes Austin off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Austin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hanibal pulls his leg out and moves away.
Austin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hanibal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Hanibal shoots in looking for a takedown but Austin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hanibal's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hanibal takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Hanibal throws a shot from downtown. Austin moves away and avoids it.
An attempted straight right counter from Austin misses the target.
Hanibal shoots for a double leg takedown but Austin sprawls well. He's pushed Hanibal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Austin gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Austin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hanibal with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Austin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hanibal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Austin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hanibal is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Austin scores with a couple of nice shots.

Austin is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hanibal is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
