The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Il leaves Gutierrez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Il drives through and clinches with Gutierrez against the cage.
Gutierrez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Il smiles and moves away.
No luck for Il with that takedown attempt.
Gutierrez wants to clinch.
Il closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Il lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gutierrez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Il should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gutierrez has tightened it up now! Il should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
