Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Willy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Big Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peter Willy!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith connects with a crisp jab.
Willy wants to clinch.
Willy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smith is fending him off so far but Willy persists. Nope, Smith circles away and we're back to standing.
Willy shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Willy tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Smith, as that shot connected.
Willy misses with a takedown
letting Smith counter with a right hand.
Big Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Willy.
The crowd cheers as Smith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Willy doesn't seem phased though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Willy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Smith sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Willy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Willy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Willy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith is trying to buck Willy off.
Smith tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Willy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Willy wants to control but Smith is keeping him busy.
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Willy on the ground.
Smith tries to improve position but can't.
Willy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Willy landing strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith is wriggling around trying to escape but Willy has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Smith taps out and Willy picks up the big win! Great work there by Willy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Peter Willy!
