Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alvin Smarks!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smarks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Smarks working away.
Smarks working the ground and pound but Norman is defending the strikes.
Norman is trying to control Smarks's posture but Smarks avoids it.
Smarks trying to control the action but Norman is working from the bottom.
Norman wants to control but Smarks postures up.
Smarks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Norman seems a little lost for a moment, as Smarks dominates the positioning.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smarks looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Smarks wants to control but Norman is keeping him busy.
Norman is looking to reverse the position.
Norman being controlled for a moment.

Norman is looking to regain half guard here but Smarks keeps moving and retains side control.
Smarks has an Americana. Norman didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Smarks is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Smarks hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
