And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maro Torbar!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torbar throws a left and a right that both miss

and Blades counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Blades is trying to trip Torbar. He has hold of a leg but Torbar is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Blades persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Blades sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Blades stands and steps away. Torbar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Blades tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Torbar was well out of range. Poor timing from Blades.

Blades looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Blades drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Blades seems to have locked his on tight now - Torbar screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Blades, as he picks up the win!
