Gromadowski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Purcell drops down looking for a counter takedown but Gromadowski sprawls and moves away.

Gromadowski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Purcell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Purcell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Purcell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Purcell decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gromadowski, up you get!

Purcell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gromadowski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gromadowski is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Purcell is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Purcell quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Purcell but it's paid off an Gromadowski is forced to tap! Nice work by Purcell.
