The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguilar has his takedown stuffed
and Meshugga counters with a series of strikes. Aguilar will be more careful next time no doubt.
Meshugga gets tackled into the cage by Aguilar. Aguilar maintains the clinch.
Meshugga decides to pull guard.

Aguilar pushes down on Meshugga's leg and manages to get into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aguilar thows a huge punch but Meshugga dodges it nicely.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Aguilar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Meshugga is just riding it out for now. Aguilar eventually gives up the hold.
Meshugga is staying active underneath Aguilar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Meshugga wants to control but Aguilar is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Meshugga is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Meshugga closes the distance and clinches up with Aguilar, looking for a takedown. Meshugga pushes Aguilar against the cage but Aguilar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Aguilar has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Meshugga should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Aguilar has tightened it up now! Meshugga should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
