Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Emmitt Mcdowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Samberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcdowell throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Samberg tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mcdowell is in Samberg's guard.
Mcdowell lands a couple of digs.
Mcdowell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Samberg wants to sweep but no luck.
Samberg pulls Mcdowell in close to prevent any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Samberg can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mcdowell in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mcdowell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mcdowell scoring with punches to the head and body.
Mcdowell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mcdowell wants to control from the top but Samberg keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Samberg seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Mcdowell throws a sloppy head kick and Samberg moves out of range easily.
Samberg bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Emmitt Mcdowell has been cut.
Mcdowell gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
