Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darby Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, United Booty Foundation. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bryant throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Gordon gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bryant regains guard.
Gordon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bryant lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bryant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Gordon isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bryant stacks Gordon on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bryant!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

In his post fight interview, Kobe Bryant started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
