Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kim Foley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nichols Froot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nichols Froot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kim Foley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nichols Froot!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley is looking to clinch.
Froot looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Foley closes the distance and pushes Froot back into the cage.
Foley wants to break the clinch but can't.
Foley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Froot just stands there and leans against the cage.

Froot gets control of Foley's arms and successfully pulls guard. Froot will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Froot escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Foley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Foley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Froot will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Froot has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Foley regains guard immediately.

Nichols Froot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Foley tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Froot avoids it.

Foley jumps into guard, dragging Froot to the mat.
Froot wants to control from the top but Foley keeps moving.
Foley is pulling down on Froot's head to control his posture.
Froot's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Kim Foley showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Froot has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
