Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tydeas Labeneos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blackfish Badass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badass lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Badass tries to bum rush Labeneos with a series of wild strikes but Labeneos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Blackfish Badass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Badass throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Labeneos closes the distance and clinches.

Labeneos has clasped his hands together around Badass's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Labeneos trying to control the action but Badass is working from the bottom.
Labeneos tries to advance to mount but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Labeneos takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Some wild striking there from Badass.
Labeneos has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A head kick misses from Labeneos.

Labeneos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Badass was covering up waiting for the punch and Labeneos finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Badass is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Labeneos defends well.

Badass not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Labeneos stands up and waves to Badass to follow him.

Labeneos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Badass looks winded!

Badass has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Labeneos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Labeneos gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Blackfish Badass is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Badass enables Labeneos to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Badass manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Labeneos working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Badass is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Labeneos is aware though and is defending well.
Labeneos controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Labeneos is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Labeneos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Badass swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Badass looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Badass utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Labeneos drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Badass manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Labeneos has Badass in his guard.

Labeneos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blackfish Badass dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Badass swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Labeneos.
It seemed like Badass was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Labeneos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Badass as he avoids it easily.
Blackfish Badass seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Labeneos clinches.
Badass fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Badass is looking for a takedown.
Labeneos jumps guard but Badass turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Badass wants to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A nice left hand lands by Labeneos.

Labeneos has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Badass clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Badass is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Labeneos clinches up against the cage.
Labeneos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Badass avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tydeas Labeneos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Labeneos is leaning against Badass and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Tydeas Labeneos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Badass sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Labeneos keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Badass trying to control but Labeneos is having none of it.
Badass might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Labeneos haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Badass lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Blackfish Badass showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Labeneos has Badass pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Labeneos pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Badass tumbling to the mat - Labeneos dives into Badass's guard.

Badass slaps away a takedown attempt from Labeneos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Badass moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Labeneos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Badass, pushing him back against the cage.

Badass has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Labeneos after a bit of a struggle.
Labeneos landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Badass pushes Labeneos off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Tydeas Labeneos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Badass throws a combination. Labeneos tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Left hook, right uppercut from Badass.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Labeneos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Badass looks to land a combination. Labeneos sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Badass throws a right and a left that Labeneos avoids nicely.
Labeneos jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Labeneos clinches up with Badass and pushes him back against the cage.
Labeneos connects with a knee to the head.

Labeneos has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Badass is trying to keep an underhook but Labeneos manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Badass is trying to escape back to his feet but Labeneos uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Labeneos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Badass, who protects the arm well.
Badass is looking for a sweep.

And that's the end of the fight!
Blackfish Badass comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Badass winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
