The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Hogan.
Hogan unleashes a big counter combination but Souza bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Jab, jab by Hogan - just one landing.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Souza misses with a lunging right hand
letting Hogan counter with a right hand.

Hogan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Souza, pushing him back against the cage.
Souza lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hogan can't find room to land a body shot as Souza controls the action.
Hogan lands with a right to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hogan blocks an uppercut.
Hogan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Souza leaning against his opponent.
Hogan swings wildly with an uppercut but Souza uses good head movement to avoid it.
A head punch on the inside from Hogan fails to land.
Souza definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Souza misses with a punch to the body.

Still in the clinch, Hogan scores with a nice short uppercut.

Souza is rocked!
Souza wants to break the clinch but can't.
Oh Souza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hogan lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Hogan lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Souza manages to break the clinch.
Souza misses with a left hand
and Hogan counters with a big left hand that crumples Souza! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

A relieved looking Swish Hogan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
