The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McLarnin goes for a double leg but Hall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hall continues to drive forward.

Hall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McLarnin can do to turn this around?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McLarnin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hall rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McLarnin's guard! Nice work there by Hall!
Jimmy McLarnin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

McLarnin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hall defends it easily.

Justin Hall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

McLarnin can't keep his opponent in guard - Hall advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hall seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
McLarnin pushes Hall off looking to stand but Hall dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hall is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
McLarnin with the active half guard here but Hall passes nicely into side control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hall, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
